Members
~ Aims
Associate membership status is open to any organisation
with an interest or involvement in sustainable tourism.
The aims of VISIT are:
• Promotion of and support
to sustainable tourism development
• Promotion of its full members and their certified products
• Promotion of certification for sustainability in tourism
in compliance with the VISIT standards
• Protection and further development of the VISIT standards
for tourism certification schemes
•
Support the mutual recognition, the co-operation and
exchange of information, experience and expertise among
the members, as well as other expressed members’ interests
• Support activities between members and stakeholders
• Development
and protection of the VISIT name and concept
